Looking for options with full accoutrement of frum life resources but not too overwhelming or judgmental.
We are not and will never be millionaires so places like LA and Miami are out.
We have no extended family so could go anywhere.

What do you consideration be a "full accoutrement of frum life resources"?
A yeshiva high school? Does it need to match your hashkofa?
Seperate boys/girl schools?
A community kollel?
A pizza store?
Fine fleshig dining?
Sushi available at midnight?

Kollel would be nice. Don’t need a mesivta. BY high school is needed. Possibly a MO high school.

Do you cover your hair and how? Would you be looking for a community where the women wear skirts only and cover their hair?
Do you want an out of town vibe or a more east coast, in town vibe?
I think this will narrow down your choices

Yes I cover my hair always (sheital for work and snood for not work) and wear skirts. My DH is intimidated by NY but I like the east coast so some place laid back. In town probably won’t work for him. But maybe.

Baltimore sounds like a perfect fit for what you are looking for. BY elem and hs are a wide mix of the frum spectrum from RWMO to yeshivish, but there are other options to the left of BY if needed. Passaic has become much more in town over the years. Less of an oot laid back feel there- there are choices as far as schools go but you will be choosing a “box” when you choose a school.

It’s only Canada but it’s still a different country and the legal issues involved in getting citizenship or legal residency and health insurance can make the move complicated. Housing is expensive.
Baltimore sounds great. There are communities in NJ that might be a fit like Teaneck and Passaic.
