He IS a Jew. It was discovered that his mother is Jewish.
He gave the woman he was married to a divorce, and he is looking to get married.
He is extremely supportive of his fellow Jews and says all Jews are fantasizing optimists (he had a different expression that I forgot) that the recent tragedy of 1,000 Israelis were killed, cant happen again, until every terrorist is killed, and not allowed near Israel's borders.
Zev Brenner pretty much agreed with him, but said its not realistic, it cant happen. We cant eliminate all enemies of Jews from Israeli borders.
He sounded very polished and very knowledgable.

Rabbi Avraham Reich in Boro Park (expert in lineage) traced his lineage.
Theres Footstep Jews brought up in very Orthodox homes, who are denouncing and publicly mocking their religion, and hes embracing it.
No one says he didnt make mistakes.

He married the girl pretending he was Jewish. He explained that he was leading a real Jewish life and wanted only that. Was going to convert in the end but he found out he was Jewish- that's what drew him to it. He deserves a chance

He can do teshuva
I can still hold an appropriate boundary and refuse to accept the words of a known Liar
People have to prove themselves over time with concrete steps
He ruined this girls life so no sympathy from me
Imagine if this girl were a relative of yours someone you know and love
So I wouldn’t get near him with a ten foot pole

Before we knew he was Jewish, it was no issue to speak negatively about him.
He is currently a full-fledged Jew.
As a Yid, it is now considered Lashon Hora and it is forbidden to talk about his past mistakes.
A person could do Teshuva and he did Teshuva.
The girl is happily remarried and he too deserves a new chance in life. If you don't trust or believe him, keep it to yourself.

I started this thread because despite the fact that he definitely made big mistakes with honesty, I think hes real now.
As far as L"H, someone has to ask The CC Foundation.

Is this the sole source? Honest question: is this how it works in Judaism? If someone is publicly known to be non-Jewish, to the point that an entire wedding is undone and it makes major news that he's not Jewish, and one rav comes along and says he is, we all need to instantly accept that? I don't know Rabbi Reich and am in no way questioning his lineage skills. But is he skilled with conmen as well? What if this guy forged an identity, or got ahead of him in terms of creating false documents in Lebanon? Where are we allowed to use our brains and draw the line? It's very hard to trust anything coming from this guy after the way he betrayed so many. And if he was truly Jewish all along, how did this not come out when he was still married, when he had every incentive in the world to prove it? I want to be kind but I don't want to be taken for a ride.
