Dd's wedding is the beginning of April

Shkiah is 7:25 that day

When do we call for the Kabbalas Panim and Chuppah?

Does Chuppah need to be done by Shkiah if the date on the kesubah is before Skiah? Haha...maybe I'm overthinking this, but does the date on the kesubah need to be the same as when the Chuppah is held?

I'm so confused!

Time stays the same. Some Rabbanim hold you need to sign the kesuba the same day (after shkeia) by our wedding the kesuba was signed under the chuppa

Usually the hall has a standard time they schedule things for and you work around that. Speak to the mesader kidushin about the kesubah, but I don't think you have to be concerned about it. Between the rav and the hall they should have enough experience to know what to do

I know someone who got married around shkia time, they were not sure if it would be on time (before shkia) or late (after shkia) so they brought 2 kesubas to the wedding and used the one with the date they actaully got married.

But ask your mesader kiddushin.

Sooo....say the Kabbalas Panim is called foe 5:46. Chuppah at 6:45. Technically, chuppah can be held by 7:25. But....say it's not done by 7:25, what happens?

AFAIK it's not about the time the chuppah ends. Like once they put on the ring and give the kesubah you're prob fine. I don't think sheva brachos are counted in that. But again AYLOR

Just harei at mikudeshes needs to be done before shkiah. Not the whole chuppah. The sheva b don’t matter with the timing.

I’ve been to chuppahs that were rushed or delayed to meet time requirements and many others where the mesader kedushin held it didn’t matter so you really want to find out from whoever you’re using so you can put the right time on the invitation.

Called it for 600 kabalas ponimnd 645 chuppah
Ask the mesader kudishin. One wanted the chuppa over by 723. By a different child they just wanted the ring given b4 shkiah.
