How often do you sponge bath your newborn? Also when can I cut the nails? They are getting long. Her skin is peeling in some areas. Can I put on lotion?

You can put on lotion. I use cerave baby. If you’re nervous to cut nails I use an electric nail file. Doesn’t hurt baby and I’m too scared to cut her little fingers. Doesn’t do as good of a job. But worth it for the piece of mind that I know it can’t cut her.
Should wipe her down every few days definitely under the neck folds and diaper area. Can do with warm washcloth or baby wipe. After the umbilical cord falls off you can give her a full bath in a baby tub.
