I’m so insulted. Whenever I invite my son and dil for Shabbos I find that she doesn’t wake early to keep me company. I have insomnia and by 8:00 I’m after davening, breakfast, and reading all magazines. I can really enjoy my dil’s company while the men are in shul but she’s so selfish and only cares about her sleep. I understand she works hard all week so that my son can learn stress-free, but she can always sleep in the next week. Isn’t it rude for guest to sleep in?
(Sarcasm alert. I just can’t stand the entitlement on the other thread.)

Is it a mirror post for the one last week where MIL slept in?

I don’t know what’s funny because I totally see how a MIL can go on and on about DILs sleeping in. This is not satire, this a classic of mil „she’s not good enough for my son“ rant.

LOL
Thank you Op!!!
The entitlement is absurd and beyond irritating and self centered
The criticizing of each other is so sad
Us women gotta stick together!

If you tell me how valuable my company is to you, I might wake up just for you. But then I’ll need to take a nap in the afternoon and the kids will make noise when you’re trying to sleep and you’ll have another reason to post here.
(Yes, tongue in cheek)

Ugh I wish you would’ve given the sarcasm alert at the beginning. I already got all heated up from your entitlement. Woah, I’m glad this isn’t real.

That would defeat the purpose...
