Absolutely.
Designing sustainable, efficient, and cost effective systems on a limited budget can definitely take ingenuity. 😀
Plus IT is a field that's always changing. You have to stay on your game so your skill set doesn't become obsolete.
I still call it boring because at the end of the day you are working on a computer with data. Unless you are working with AI or white hat hacking, it's not exciting.
