I don't know where it's from. I don't see any visible mold. I cleaned all surfaces well and it was still there. I bought a new shower curtain and it's still there.
Any ideas?

There’s probably mold underneath the tub. There’s no good solution. Even ripping out the tub and doing a whole construction job in the bathroom can cause more harm than good.
I insist on the fan being turned on every time you leave the shower, wipe down every wet visible surface, and leave the door open, and there’s still mold under the tub.

Do you have an exhaust fan? If yes, keep it on all of the time. If not, very beneficial to get one put in.
Last case scenario, get a mold specialist to check it out.

We do have one, I leave it on for about a half hour after a shower. I'll try leaving it on continuously and see if that helps. Thanks.

Ugh I hope not! Thank you for sharing your experience though.

I have the same now, scrubbed the bathroom, washed all towels and the fans work for a few hours after showers. I gave up. I have a mold guy coming and I can just pray and hope that I dont need to rip the entire bathroom apart.

We have this once in a while and the smell would go away after my husband cleared out the gunky hair buildup under the sink and tub drains.

How would I clean that? Do I need to call someone down?

I had this - inside the sink! Put baking soda in the sink, add vinegar. it'll bubble and foam. let it sit, rinse, repeat. it should help get rid of the mold from inside the sink.
