If you have 50k in savings and stocks why can’t u use some of that money for food?
Snap is for people who don’t have enough money for food

Disgusting post. Don't tell people how and where to spend their money. If the program is available to them they should 100% access it. Savings are called savings for a reason. People need savings for millions of reasons. Snap (food stamps) r meant to help people that don't have enough income right now, not people who didn't save in the past. U shld never get punished for savings from the past.

And just for fun. Exactly how far do you think 50k is going when there’s no income to pay all your other bills. Believe me that money for food will be needed quite fast.

If you could find someone who does this all
The time to help you then you are best off. If you forget to fill
Out even one question or answer one wrong they will disqualify you. This person might know of an additional document that can be used in your favor…It’s even worth paying someone to help you.. this from personal experience!

Call benepro (718) 633-1577 they are located in BP you can email them all required documents and they are very helpful they charge a fee but worth every penny.
NY and NJ have a different set of rules.
As far as I know you can have assets in NY.
Good luck!

Maybe skip the question and see what happens. If it's important for the application to go through they will ask you for the info.
