Does anyone know the range of price of a megillas esther ? A kosher one, on klaf. How would I go about getting one? Go directly to a sofer?

My fil bought for my husband years ago, probably cost about $2500
He went directly to a Sofer

We got ours from Israel. About $600/2000nis. From a new sofer, years ago. Probably $1000 now

My husband sells megillas. They’re mostly in $3000 range and up. There was a huge price increase over the last few years.
Op, where do you live? Can help you with recommendations if you’re in NY.
