Last I heard (about two days ago) they were asking to daven for the daughter - shilat ahuva bas louza aliza. It seems her situation declined and needed tefillos. I'm not sure of any other information and davening that it has gotten better since!
ETA - I didn't see that post above (not sure how I missed it). So this is not an update since then.

always tragic ... I sat watching the candles every night because of a 3 year old nephew & kitty cats
don't be fooled by glass that is made to burn candles or oil or whatever ... the heat causes wicks to slip & slide & when they touch the glass it can crack ... hence the fire hazard - you need metal holders to contain the fire should the glass break - be it for chanuka, shabbos, yahrtzeit or any other type of candles you might light
also water just makes the oil float & doesn't deter a fire from spreading
please do NOT carry a lit flame to the sink because the oil can drip over & burn your hands ... light & extinguish flame in the same place
