I dunno, you're the first person to ever bring up this point to me about those belts. I dont think men think in that direction. they see a nice belt, with a fancy buckle, and oh cool, its adjustable too! | I guess if it wasn't called a "cholent" belt, it wouldn't have the same negative connotations...

its just supposed to be a catchy name, the guys think its cute. my dh said a few women just bought some as chanuka gifts for their dh. no one made the "insulting" connection.
Their legal name is "Adjustable Belts". does that sit better with you?

(I'm not trying to cause trouble. I just don't think that if I were a man and received it as a gift I'd appreciate it knowing it was for my pot belly...cholent belt, beer belly belt...all sound vaguely insulting to me  )
