it certainly does. I can eat the whole thing if I pull off little peices but when I bit into it I dont like it as much and can only eat about half cuz its to much

Someone needs to write a poem and call it

Ode To String Cheese

It was several years before some very kind and decent five year old felt pity on me as he watched me gnawing on the edge of the plastic wrapper --
desperate to tear the wrapper open with my teeth...

---this gentle kind child showed me how there are two flaps on the edge that someone with some semblance of intelligence can easily grasp the edge of plastic in between their fingers and gently tear back to expose the naked quivering stick of cheese.

I felt rather stupid.
