When I was in Israel with those age baby's I did a rota playgroup. It worked so well, we each had a day where we looked after the small group of 4 kids in the afternoons. Which left me with 3 afternoons just with my baby at home. He was also only a couple of months old so didn't have to go out.. I'd walk him in the pram to the makolet!

Why can't you sit in the courtyard every afternoon? I thought that's what most people do.... it never gets boring.
