I chose other.
I drink water, but before I drink it, I swallow 1/8 tsp of himalayan sea salt.

Another vote for Body Armor. It has the specific electrolytes like Gatorade does but with more natural ingredients. I actually don't feel hydrated after drinking Gatorade because the food coloring and chemicals and stuff leave a yucky feeling in my mouth (I know it's doing its job because I've used it when sick and the dehydration symptoms improved. But I still FELT thirsty!)
I get Body Armor Lyte because it has much less sugar. But not zero sugar. I think Gatorade your choices are tons of sugar or pure artificial sugar. I forget what Body armor lyte has in it but it has enough sugar to alleviate low sugar issues for people who get that, but not enough to cause high sugar issues. I'm kind of sensitive to sugar and I find this works really well for me. A bottle sipped gradually throughout the day before the fast and another one after.

Coconut water with no sugar added is better because it's natural, less chemicals, and better bioavailability. Real things always trump fake things, especially when your body is severely lacking basic nutrients
