Because you painted loads of red decorations for your sukkah, or you cooked 10lbs of beets for YT.
Seriously: do they itch? It might be an allergy. If it's the first time, try and think back if you ate something new or touched something that you've never touched before, like a new brand of laundry soap powder or detergents, or soap, before the blotches appeared.
Perhaps wear disposable gloves when using powders, detergents....
Try not to scratch if it itches, you don't want eczema.

Because it is not the food that they are looking for so it counts as nothing so you have a lot of nothing in your fridge and that is what is available to eat.
Why didn't dd1 eat her omelet?
