It was about a family of mini-humans with tails living in the walls of peoples houses. |
'The Borrowers' are great as well...... Similar idea to 'The Littles' but better, and if I'm not mistaken they came first.

if you have an iphone or blackberry type phone or an e-reader, you can go to the gutenberg project website and download lots of quality childrens classics for free. They have almost all the e nesbit books, (railway children, the wouldbegoods, the phoenix and the carpet plus more) Frances Hodgson Burnett (a little princess, little lord fauntleroy, secret garden etc) and more.
I downloaded mobireader onto my phone (a blackberry) and it is very easy to load the books on.
(you can also load them on to a computer of course)

sunshine! wrote: | Another great one was "The Great Brain" series written by John D. Fitzgerald. Charlottes Web was a classic that I read and reread. The Beverly Cleary books (Henry and Ribsy, Henry and the paper route etc, and the Ramona books) were also a series I enjoyed. Chocolate Fever was another great book. If I remember any others I will post. |
Oh!! That's what I was thinking of while reading this thread and by the time I got to writing my own post, I forgot what it was... The Great Brain series was awesome!! Cute and funny and completely clean.
