People who ask others to write poems for your MM, thank you notes etc, don't you feel the least bit dishonest passing off other people's work as your own?
Kol haomer davar beshem omro mayvee geulah laolam, and I believe that extends beyond divrei Torah. isn't using someone else's work a form of genevas daas, making people believe yur more clever or talented than you really are?

From now on, just put "copyright, 5773 PinkFridge" at the bottom of your cards.
Seriously, if anyone uses any of my creations, I fully expect them to be tweaked. And I give them out wholeheartedly. Somehow I'm not put off by this.
ETA I think this could be an interesting discussion. Maybe you should start a new thread.

Hi,
Can anyone think of a short poem for a southern theme? Girls are being southern belle, boys confederate soldiers. Giving cotton candy for cotton, pecan pie, iced tea, and coffee packets (grown on plantations).
