thanks for your warm wishes and as many of you claim to type with one hand as you hold your babies with the other, I am sitting here holding my precious grandson (love that word) at this ung-dly hour so his parents can get some sleep and loving every minute of it!!
my dd has wxpressed more than once that she now understands how selfless and to what great lengths a mother would go to take care of protect their young

Mazel tov! Isn't it fun? I joined that club 5 years ago when my first grandson was born! I went around at a wedding that I was at and shared with all my friends, "I'm a bubby, I'm a bubby..." It was a bit strange of me, I'll admit now, but I couldn't contain myself.. Anyway - enjoy every minute.

Since this thread was brought up, I am happy to announce that I am the proud bubby of a granddaughter too. Boruch Hashem I am having sooo much fun -tooo much fun - buying girly clothes!! Once again, I was in the delivery room and was lucky enough to witness my grandchild take her first breath - Mamesh a miracle of Hashem!!

And I'm impressed by your sn. Moshiach would be here if all of us kept our yentering to just 8 people/things, etc.
