I agree that you have to figure out it out. I have a tendency to under eat when I'm being careful. I find this out when I actually start tracking my meals which just seems to be too time consuming to do (I know, pathetic but somehow I'm not doing it anymore) and through tracking my meals, I find that eating at around 1200 works for me. I'm about 5'1". Also by tracking I realized I wasn't eating enough at each meal which leads to grazing in the evening.
