WE have maybe 20 billys in the house with books and sforim.
But WAIT
Ikea just announced that next month they are starting to produce a deeper Billy. Should solve everyone's sforim problems.
We bought our Billy's in Israel. For the deeper books we bought Besta's . They are slighly more expensive, slightly more sturdy, and just a tad bit deeper. They are holding up really well to the abuse of heavy books.
OK, it's been a few days, Billy's all set up, and so far I really like it! It looks pretty good (not fancy like the Jewish stuff but very decent) it's strong enough and it's the right size. But one of the doors doesn't seem straight and I can't figure out what went wrong or how to fix it. Maybe I'll call Ikea like that guy in the picture
