these hechsherim dont give on restaurants cuz of the "mantality" although u can find bagels pizza falafel...but rubin is just as good

Pizza city is rabanut mehadrin, not the best. And they once had a problem with their hecsher too. Ninas, sams, and muscat are rav rubin which is on the same level as Landau.

I don't know where you ladies have your information from, but you should not be throwing out what is "just as good" or "the same level". Have you called each kashrus authority and checked their standards? Do you know the mashgichim personally? You can tell people - we eat xyz, but please don't throw out all kinds of statements as fact.

Even after having looked very reliably into each hechser (ok, my dh, not me) I would never say Hechsher A is just as good/ on the same level as Hechsher B. Each hechsher stands on its own and has its own standards.

FYI, Rav Rubin's hechsher is not considered on the same level as the other two by the sources we go by (and the other two have differences too) although it is also a well-respected hechsher. Everyone should ask their own rav.

I'm sorry, you're right. I sholdn't be comparing 2 hechsherim. I was getting this info by the way from DH who asked his rav.
I should rephrase it as "AFAIK most people who eat landau and Eida hachareidus will be ok with eating rubin also." And again, this is coming from DHs rav, not me.
FTR, for many this is true, but for many more it is not. They will eat Landau and Eida but not Rubin.

And I know many who eat rubin and not landau. everyone should AYLOR

Actually, this is the first time I disagree with this.
Dont ask your LOCAL rav. Rather ask him to recommend a rav in Israel, since he'll have all the up to date info.

Entrecot, in Har hotzvim, is under Rubin. I was there recently for a special occasion, and it was very nice indeed. Clean, and the service was great - professional wait staff rather than teenagers. Pricey though!

Muskat in Givat shaul is my favourite milchig restaurant, also Rubin.

Keyara, Sheyan, are under Agudas Yisroel (I think). Most Lubavitchers won't eat there.

Or Litvish that I know.
fair enough, but I was addressing the OP.

Sorry, I didn't remember/ realize the OP was Lubavitch.

I was just trying to say tactfully that Aguda is not considered a high-level hechsher by many people, even though it's officially a mehadrin one.

I looked up entrecôte & it says it's glatt mehadrin under Rabbi Mahfoud. What does that mean?
Is there a difference if the place is milchig or Fleishig hashgacha wise. As in if you would rely on them for milchigs but not fleishigs?

Not the Op, but What about restaurants outside yerushalaim? Every time we go I never know if mehadrin of that city means it's ok or not? What are some good hecsherim outside Yerushalayim?
