I would be p***d off!

Facebook privacy setting are there for a reason. If someone is so desperate to see me they should come to my house to visit!

Its not nice. But I know that anything I put on FB is fare game for anything. Anything that I dont want to be made into an ad on the side of a bus in Japan (true story, happened to a friend of mine!) I wont put on FB. Thats called street smart.

She copied your picture without your permission. Then, when confronted, she lied about how many people she sent it to. Not good.

I'm not buying the internet is public as an excuse. She could have acted the same way about a picture she had access to in any medium. IMO, she behaved very badly and owes you both an apology, and a commitment to always ask before sharing something that is not hers.
