Shalhevet - sticking to her ideals despite all the bashing, while retaining a sense of humor (albeit British).

Motek - upgrading the posts on Imamother to a more intellectual level, and being consistent in her beliefs and ideologies.

Ozmom and Tefila - Chassidish and fun combined.

Greenfire - spontaneous and fun, adds a lot of spice to this site.

Sevensenses - caring and sensitive.

Chen - adds that professional touch (where is she?).

Chavamom - knowledgeable in every topic.

TzenaRena - a real Talmida Chachama!

Chocolatemoose, you should consider quality over quantity (and I’m saying this with a smile, kindly).

Hello everybody.
From southernbubby and chen I learned to pick a mentor, and then miss them when they disappered here.

From sevensenses I learned how to get addicted

From downsyndrome I learned how to register here

From Yael I leaner dhow to delete posts I knew I would regret

From ruchel I am fascinated that she sees only through rose colored lenses (may your children inherit that special quality)

From greenfire I learned how to rely on alcohol (but still can’t get myself to try one sip!)

From tefila I learned about another planet

From mitzvahmm I learned that new shoes for children is a gift, not something you buy because you’re fed up of those rips once and for all!

From happypurim, oyster, finkel, happyone, teneleven etc. I learned that you cannot remain anonymous here Sad

And the list goes on.

I try to be optimistic and to begin by seeing things and people in a good light, but I wish it was always the case and I wouldn't hear the "you could see things a bit more favorably" line!

no sorry I didn't explain.

oh wow thankyou except I'm not sure that I'm all that chassidish.
I strive to be, but am not sure that I'm there yet. embarrassed

from mali: sticking to her ideals,
she is also somewhat more tolerant then I, also something to learn from

from tzena rena: also bitul. a real 'cop' on those sholders and she still doesn't make herself out to be bigger then anyone with a smaller 'cop'.
she also strikes me as the sort of person with a willingness to learn even from those who are less smart then she.

from choc moose: how to pay attention to detail

from CS I learnt how to express myself when I have good feelings to share

from motek: how to take action and speak up

from GR: how to show appreciation for liked posts

Relax girl! That's part of life. Nothing on the web is anonymous as you yourself have said in a previous post. If I don't want something publicized, I don't say it! I am glad though, that I've found you! I've wondered about you over the years and am proud of what you've done with yourself! I'm amazed....
and from Withhumor I've learned to "Go For It!"..... Women can do anything they've set their heart to.
