I will confess to probably voting for Trump over Clinton or Cousin Bernie. But I pray it won't come to that, that Moshiach will be here so it won't be our elections, and if not, that he not be the nominee. I do not want to vote for someone who made his billions through casinos, who's crude and insulting. I do think he's smarter than we give him credit for and that he would consult others. He might not be terrible as a president. It would just be terrible of America to nominate him.

It's seriously beyond me how any sane person could vote for him, no matter who the other candidate is. Really totally beyond me.

Agreed. Six year olds speak their mind, and it's not a sign of maturity or a developed intellect.

Yes, I would vote for Trump.

And I don't name-call those who voted for Obama, so let's not name-call those who support Trump. I'm pretty open-minded politically and don't have a problem with differing political opinions. Why do people get so negative when discussing politics?

I like his candor. I dont like everything he says (for example, I don't approve of his name-calling of others), but I do like that he seems to speak his mind and is not intimidated by the media.

And yes, I do like his stance on certain issues. No, I do not agree with his stance on everything. Of course not. But then, does anyone agree with everything a candidate says?

And that's what makes this a democracy. We can each vote for the candidate we like.

I would never vote for Trump. Not because of his political views but because I don't think he can be trusted.

I am generally very liberal. (I've never voted for a Republican.) That said, when it comes to foreign policy, I think our next president needs to be very strong and be unafraid to take on terrorism, etc. I've been pretty happy with Obama's domestic policy, but not very happy with his foreign policy overall.

I am shocked to see how far Trump has made it in this election cycle, and believe that he speaks to people's prejudices. I watched a few of the republican debates, and it's concerning to see that the top candidates don't seem at all prepared to run the country. Even if you are not a professional politician, you do need to be well-versed in domestic and foreign affairs so that you can make informed decisions. It seems to be that both Carson and Trump have failed to demonstrate this kind of knowledge.

While I disagree with the positions of some of the other Republican candidates, I respect their positions as intelligent, reasoned, thoughtful positions that are just different from my own. But Trump seems to believe that he could just bluster his way through the presidency. It's hard to take someone like that seriously as a candidate. Being honest and speaking truthfully is necessary, but not sufficient, for being president. We are in great need of real leadership at this time, and that means someone who can come into office on day one knowing their way around the big issues of the day. Trump manages to make good fodder for headlines, but I don't think he's prepared to make the tough decisions our president must make.

I used to be very conservative, always wanted the republican to win,

I loved G W Bush

The older I get the more middle of the road I get, I?m not sure if I?m moving left or the republicans are getting more n more extreme

They will never make a deal to govern effectively

Just look on the front runners now
Trump ???????? ha ?? Cruz??? Ha ???

Also I?m now pro gun control ,
against death penalty ,
dont think the justice system is fair at all etc,

Tea party conservative. Trump's not my guy (and I don't think he's very conservative) but he says what he thinks, he's not afraid of the media or being politically correct, and I'll gladly vote for him over Hillary.

In the very interesting poll where people were asked the first thing they thought of about different candidates, the #1 response regarding Trump was ARROGANT, and the #1 response about Hillary Clinton was LIAR.*

And what this means I don't know except that G-d has reasons for everything; Trump has a beloved Jewish daughter -- and Jewish grandchildren.

Apparently you haven't fact checked some of Trumps claims.
