There is a difference between not socializing with someone who rubs you the wrong way and actually ignoring them
as far as increasing ahavas yisroel that sounds like twisted and perverted logic to me. How can it be increasing ahavas yisroel to ignore someone. increasing ahavas yisroel would be to re-evaluate why you don't like the person and learn to get along. And if its really bad and a person is really buggin you, then contact a mod.
Other then insulting and rude posts which will get deleted by mods, I can't see any reason why a person should be ignored.
If its a chronic problem, then it can be taken further but ignoring, will be abused

Esti
I'm with you all the way on this one.
There is something special to be learned from every single person on here. If you ignore them, well, you miss your chance.
Chen, more bears live in the woods that the amount of posters who have been banned from here.

I don't see the ignore button.
Lots of forums have that feature. I've never used it though.

so I finally got to the computer. as I type I am nursing mendy and holding a crying shevy.
the ignore feature hasnt been removed completely its been hidden and only accessible through your profile.
the change was yes b/c of Estis's thread.
now it wont be in your face, and you dont need to know that it exists, unless of course you want to use it.
Good Shabbos.

I will admit two things:
I do not like it
I respect the fact that people are entitled to their own opinions!
