I lonve the first and the last one. the only questions I have is the dress has brown on it and so dies the sweater. wont that look funny with grey?

Yes. I was on my phone when I posted but now I'm looking closer on the computer. The dress could go with brown tights and a brown headband and she would still look neutral enough to match everyone.

The brown buttons on the sweater are totally fine but if it bothers you, I think a solid white/gray/cream ribbed bodysuit would be perfect tucked into the shorts. It would look gorgeous and neat for pictures.

If you give her a gray bodysuit with the shorts, you can put this cardigan on top and she'll match the black and white theme:

yes it did- she looked beyond adorable. I paired it with a cream ruffly headband and grey tights.
