This also was a story. I was dirt poor, traveling on a sponsored trip to relatives in another country. I had to take care of some paperwork. While I was out, I passed by the lottery stand. I turned to Hashem and said "you can do anything. If you want, I can win the lottery. I wish I could win. I would feel so taken care of." I bought a ticket for a dollar. After shabbos, I checked the ticket, and I had won, another ticket. I felt like HaShem was telling me that, yes I can do anything, yes you need to win, but at this time you need to go through being a poor person.

Yes, I won the lottery. Twice.
