Hatzalah will take to Manhattan if a patient has multiple medical issues and all their Dr's are in one hospital in Manhattan and they have an ambulance available and hatzalah volunteers who can give up 3-4 hours to take to Manhattan . If not they give the patient the option on calling in a private company such as senior care.

Oy! Just saw this thread. Sequoia may you have a Refuah Shelaimah. What hospital are you in? Hopefully someone here lives nearby and can go over to bring you food or moral support . Keep us posted please!

Do you think I didn't call her? She doesn't have a magic wand or any pull at least at Columbia Presbyterian to jump lines. What I needed was to be a current patient of a doctor with privileges at Columbia Presbyterian.
Her magic wand works in some places. She has very good information on which doctor to treat. Both her organization and my own research said Columbia Presbyterian was the best place. |

My point was for her to contact her doctor for fastest access to a hospital bed.
