There are 2 more boy camps besides for ruach chaim that are under 2000. (Maybe camp tashbar and ruach kayitz). Boys still have a good time despite the low price.
I also know many people (my neices) who get scholarships in girl camps and pay below 2000.
Fees I can think of now:
Transportation
Doctor co pay
Water (optional but can’t send on transportation)
T-shirt or sweatshirt
Luggage
Canteen
Tips (they don’t pay staff)
I know this is all standard in all camps. It still adds up. And most is optional but if everyone does it you have to do it too.

My daughter went to Marom (I don't think it's around anymore). Full price was $1,425 plus air fare for one half. My daughter went twice and has an awesome time.
