Ok. I'll bite. What were AOC's comments trivializing the holocaust? And do you mean AOC actually?

She compared the border to concentration camps, for one.

You’re right about that. Obama secretly gave Iran (same Iran that screams “death to America, death to Israel”) $140 billion in the dead of night, while Trump got America out of that sham of an agreement. Obama stuck it to Israel in the UN as his last act in office, while Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem, declared Jerusalem Israel’s capitol, same with the Golan. Obama destroyed our economy, while Trump has brought it to historic highs. Yup, you’re right.

There was a tweet. You can google it.

Here's the tweet:

Quote:
It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!

This is what the NYT referred to as "intense pressure"? That's quite literally beyond parody. Countries do not pressure one another by sending tweets. This was a done deal long before Trump tweeted anything.

The world is watching in horror as a society that gave the world some of the most incredible technological and sociological advancements in history, is devouring itself. Politics has become a sport at which there are no winners. Instead of trying to temper the hate and bring people together, your leader is fanning the flames and relishing the continued degeneration of your social fabric.
Most concerning to me as a frum Jew, is watching this spill over unto this site.

Good thing 99% of Israelis disagree with you and actually believe Trump is the best friend in a US president that the country has ever had.

Exactly! Can you believe it? That’s pressure? More proof that a lie repeated often enough starts to be believed...

I agree.

Cong Tlaib put her elderly grandma on the back burner.

Id like to hear her grandma say shed rather not see her granddaughter, on these terms. Just Tlaib saying so doesnt convince me that this is preferable to the family.

Actually, I believe that before Israel said they'll let them in.
His tweet can definitely be seen as pressure (he wouldn't be happy with Israel if they let them in). The timing is also pretty bad - announcing it an hour or so after the tweet
(Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they weren't allowed in. And I don't hate trump, although I admit he's sometimes far from a properly behaved individual)

I don't believe their supporters are that stupid. I give them a reasonable amount of intelligence. They think that we are that stupid.

I don't think the Democrats believe Tlaib's reason for not seeing granny. They think it is saving face with the conservatives. They know it's BS.

Toddler Trump: Gimme Greenland! Gimme Greenland! I WANT GREENLAND!

Trump Enablers: Now, now. You can't have Greenland. Greenland is not for sale. Why don't we lock up some more immigrant kids, or insult some Muslim congresswomen instead.

Toddler Trump: BUT I WANNA! WHO SAYS I CANT HAVE GREENLAND WAAAAAAH

Very Smart Person: let's cut it out with the Toddler Trump business long enough to have a cogent discussion on his policies. There are actually very good reasons to buy Greenland! With global warming (which is totally not happening and is a Chinese hoax), Greenland will be very valuable real estate!

Very Dumb Liberal: That doesn't change the fact that Toddler Trump impetuously caused an international uproar over buying land that is not for sale.

Very Smart Person: Now, now. Denmark will not go Greenless and nobody will suffer because Trump demanded to buy Greenland. This will all blow over by tomorrow. Trump is so brilliant! Once again he throws catnip to the press who can't help but take the bait! He's showing the country how dumb the liberal media is! Meanwhile while they're going nuts over Greenland they're not talking about [Mueller, gun massacres, kids in cages, Epstein, sinking poll numbers, tanking economy, disastrous trade wars, stormy daniels, Russia, obstruction of justice, tax returns, NRA Butina, whatever]. Trump's my president!! It's all about the policies, baby!

Very Dumb Liberal: Well, if his policies are so great why does he keep trying to distract from them?

VSP: Iceland! Greenland! Greenberg! Rashida Tlaib! Ilhan! Embassy! TRAITORSSSSSSS!!!!

VDL: Will you ever get to the point of realizing the emperor has no clothes?

VSP: He has beautiful clothes. The best clothes. Much nicer clothes than yours. Nicer boats, too.
