It doesn't matter the situation or type of vehicle if you are on a public road giving migraines to people who never asked for your music.

Yesterday, fire trucks and police cars drove up and down the streets with their sirens on with the Easter Bunny waving. Haven't heard any complaints

If I have to spend another day curled up in bed with noise canceling headphones, I'm not going to stand for it.

You can refer to the other very heartwarming and ahavas-Yisroel inspiring thread, that discusses where to report on other Jews.

There were four separate trucks with individual singers on each. Simcha Leiner, Beri Weber, Benny Friedman and Shmuli Unger. We watched it in Monsey via Instagram. My kids were jealous that only Flatbush had live music. I think it was a beautiful way to boost our spirits on Chol Hamoed during these trying times. They were mesameach thousands of people and I think it was a beautiful idea.

Oh that is ridiculous. If you're going to get a migraine get noise cancelling headphones, everyone else, and I mean EVERYONE else, sees the trucks as a breath of fresh air and desperately needed cheer. It's absolutely beautiful and the zchus of all the children's simchas YT must be incredible. Stop looking for problems and just try enjoying.

Exactly!!!! I for one am so glad for the beautiful hartzidig music, and the kindness of the singers, instead of only hearing the terrorizing ambulance sirens!!! Let’s be thankful, guys!

You poor thing! Do you have the virus, or even "just" a migraine, and this noise was adding to your misery?

Refuah sheleima. Hug

I think most of us can step back and see both sides of the same coin -- how an event that could bring joy could also bring pain.

May we find our way closer to each other.

There's no being DLKZ. It doesn't matter his intentions when his actions are illegal and damaging. If he weren't Jewish, I'd already have called the police.

As someone mentioned, there was a police escort so everything was legal. Why would you assume they did anything illegal? Oh right. Self hating Jew. Anyway, may G-d bless you that whatever troubles in your life caused you to be a miserable, negative person, that seeks to see bad in everything, be taken away. May you only see happiness in your future.

I give you the same broucha that you can love yourself and not be a miserable negative person.
You should love your fellow Jew, so you don't have to assume nasty things about her.

I didn’t ASSUME anything nasty. She WAS nasty.
Bh I love all Jews and I am a happy, positive person. I don’t take credit for that. Hashem made me that way.

Yup there was one. We were driving around Lakewood just because. To get out of the house. We heard music and saw a truck with 2 plastic elephants in the back going around to developments. There was some patrol car behind it. It brought so many smiles. I thought it was so nice!

We had something similar today in Chicago, not a live concert but loud Jewish music and sirens blaring from an old decommissioned ambulance driving up an down the streets for at least an hour.

The young kids certainly enjoyed it, but there were more people congregating on the sidewalks as it drove by than usual. Also, we have lots of non-Jewish neighbors sprinkled in between Jewish homes, so it wasn't very considerate of them. But the intentions were good.

Since apparently it doesn't matter that it causes excruciating pain for some people, I have another question. How would you feel if someone went around blasting rap music or metal?

My baby is sleeping. The music is insanely loud.
I don’t know if this is the noise I’m hearing, but if it it’s a bit much.
In the middle of the day is one thing, but at night?

It’s misplaced

What do you do anytime there’s a hachnosas Sefer Torah, on Simchas Torah, Purim...?

I actually saw the truck today and was so inspired it brought tears to my eyes. My sons were dancing with joy and all my kids ran out to see what the live music was. We even saw the non Jewish neighbors come outside smiling and videoing. It was truly a beautiful kiddush HaShem. Everyone involved should be gebenched. And bitter people on this thread should go find somewhere else to vent their bitterness.

Lucky you that you don't get excruciating headaches from the music. Go somewhere else to call people bitter.
