Carlbach's Ano Hashem. I'm not a Carlbacher but I have a special Kesher to this song.

Shir Lamaalot (Yosef Karduner tune). I especially feel a connection to tehillim 121 and I think I heard once that it is also a prayer for your zivug .. either way, if that's true or not, I just felt it was a special song to walk down the isle to. Smile

El hanaar hazeh hispallalti
A teacher in seminary had said when you walk around your chosson 7 times you should think el hanaar hazeh hispallalti- this is a direct result of my tefillos (referencing the posuk chana said to Eli about Shmuel) so when I heard the song I instantly knew that it would be what I walked down to someday. And when I got engaged I truly felt this was what I davened for!

Wow, really? That's an atypical choice, but a beautiful one nonetheless.

It's the name of the song. Also known as ד בובות.
The Rebbe it's referring to is the lubavitche alter rebbe.
It's very commonly used, even by noon chabadskers. It is gorgeous. The chosson walks down during the low part, the first two stanzas, and the kallah walks down during the high part second to two stanzas. Both me and my husband walked down to it.

DH walked down to this! (he told me he wanted this the day we got engaged lol) and we are not one bit chabad nor any bit chasidish.

Not at all. It's a classic wedding march. Slow and beautiful.
