It's not fair to the creators of the show to watch it illegally.
I just watched it in Israel. It was really good, although I was never one of the die hard Shtisel fans, so I didn't go in with sky high expectations.

This 3rd season was filmed 5 years later after a LOOOT of enthusiasm was picked up from the international showing on netflix. there wasnt going to be a 4rd season after the first 2, but now there is Smile

I highly doubt there will be any more seasons after that.

I read the plot of the second season, and decided it was too sad for me at the time.

Will Shtisel 3 give me closure, folks? Or should I just write my own ending at this point?

Well, all I can say is that I watched the first of the 9 episodes there will be for season 3 and I cried, legit cried. Soooo, happy? No. Sad, very, but really really good.

Thanks - I'm collecting the info and hoping tonight to actually get to watch it.
Also trying to avoid info about the episode. I see Ynet has a big article about it which I'm going to ignore until I actually get to watch it....

Correct, they put the first one on You Tube for free, I guess as an advertisement. After that- I'm sure it costs money. I didn't see English subtitiles.
