Though they're building nice houses, there are no programs or services for families who become lucky and have a child with special needs. No one guaranteed against it.

Yes! It's happening. We have currently 16 families. Most with young children.They bought a beautiful building for a Cheder. Everyone is happy to be out of NY.

Of course not, it’s Florida. Do your research before you go. You’re not going to get NY levels of social services in a red state.

Those sorts of services are paid by state taxes, mainly. So how will they be funded?
ETA the WSJ had an article that mentioned this new community recently
