It’s not about the money, it’s about seichel. And if you don’t like it once it comes then what? Do you go about the hassle of returning it? Or do you just put it on the curb for the trash collector? Seems like you can avoid ether scenario by going to a baby store

ETA I see you have covid. Refuah shelaima

It has nothing to do with seichel! I have never tested a stroller before buying one. I do research and it's really not a big deal to return. I don't get the fuss you're making.

a stroller is super annoying to return to get it back in the box and schlep back to the store (many of these high end ones weigh more than 25lb. I’m not physically Able to lift that much post partum (csection) and couldn’t put it in and out of the car/store; or even worse send out to ship back (waiting on line at post office etc during a pandemic takes hours) I’m glad it’s not big deal for you, it would be a huge deal to me and the last thing I want to deal
With after having a baby. Strollers are so individual and it’s so much fun to go to the store to try them out! But I’m glad you figured out what works for you

I really like the city mini gt. im a big fan. but it costs nowhere 3k.

id take that plus a travelstroller/doona -type of mobile troller and maybe an elegant baby pram .
all those together combine tons of features: great look, easy fold, light weight. and if you have space to store them (lie a garage) I would totally splurge on three indiviudal great strollers.

beshaa tova and refuah shlema!!!

If you want to spend the mima is beautiful. Though it’s more of a sturdy walking stroller. I’d get a cheaper more practical stroller for the car as well.

I have the Cybex Priam and love it but it’s not a small fold and it’s not especially light. But I keep a Mountain Buggy Nano in my trunk for when I’m out.

They have a more classic look, but I'm a big fan of the valco baby line.

Can you use one of your older strollers or a snap n go for the first 2 weeks and then pick a stroller in person after you've recovered from covid and birth?

The Mima has a really hard push and becomes difficult to maneuver once the child becomes a bit older/heavier. the best drivability are the bugaboos, no brand beats their easy push. so it depends what characteristics you are looking for.

Cybex Priam all the way. So much nicer than bugaboo. And get the yoyo for an easy car stroller. I did tons of research and went with both of those and haven’t regretted it for a second! Personally did not want a doona so I use the yoyo wheels for the car seat. Very easy in and out.

No stroller beats the easy push of a Bugaboo.
But it's not so easy to fold. Any expensive stroller doesn't have an easy fold. It's not meant for travel and to be folded.
The bugaboo bee does have an easy fold and excellent push, but it can't be compared to the bugaboo fox.

Uppababy Vista has an easy push and easy fold.
