wall street grill has a really nice rooftop dining area with a city view. Had my first mojito there, what fun, usually not too crowded. Went to bison and bourbon recently, loved the outdoor patio with flowering trees and cool lighting. It was crowded and we had to wait a bit for service. But the delmonico steak was very worth it! Yummy appetizers and dessert too.

Most of the restaurants listed in this thread are steakhouses, albeit very high end ones. Not sure their speciality is modern food, if that’s what you’re after.

And you have alot other good options that were mentioned, Meat, Bakar, Bordeaux, UN Grill, Wall Street Grill, ETC (Teaneck), Trastevere.
Foodies always have options.

My go to place these days is
Glatt A La Carte,
Nice relaxed ambiance, not too crowded, food is top notch with a heimish kick, not small portions and service is superb,and they have been around for a while and they know their stuff
