Not the same at all, sorry. I look at it like being a marriage counsellor and never was married.

Look, I like Mrs. Tukashinsky and I think she has terrific things to say and her advice helped me personally.
However, I still don't think it's the same as being an actual mother or an actually married person. There's just something about going through it that gives you a different perspective than someone that knows a lot but is just an observer and bystander. NOT the same at all like a surgeon or something like that.

I heard that Rabbi Malach had to cancel. I hope they will have someone great to take over. Does anyone know?

I would love to go but it’s a fortune I wish they could bring amazing speakers but downscale the Shabbos not to make it so lavish so people can actually afford it.

I wouldve also like to go to the 40 shabbos but as you said it's very expensive for us . Also dh is not the type to listen to lectures. Whenever I ask him if he wants to go he says no

It is expensive but they do fly in speakers from Eretz Yisroel and they prepare a lot of food presented beautifully.
I went once and I’m looking forward to going again with the topics geared to a slightly older age.

I am just wondering how they will cover for R’ Malach. He was a keynote speaker when I went and really had a lot to offer. He sings, speaks, makes you laugh and cry.

Torah Anytime will probably have a lot of the talks. I know from past years they're not all in Yiddish.

There are lectures in Yiddish and lectures in English and some speakers mix.

I would love to surprise my dh with the next one, it's right up his alley
I legit don't speak Yiddish though (he does!), will I be bored half the time? Or is there enough English stuff to keep me busy?
Also what do you do with a baby?
