Think of the population here, and you will understand.

Snood or lined beret-snood
Tichels slip off way too easily and I have coverage issues with them (yes I know I can wear a velvet headband but why the fuss when I know a snood will work fine without it?)

Glad that works for you and your marriage
If I wear a sheitel at home, my DH looks at me funny and tells me to "go change." Lol. I always admire that about my DH, he always prioritizes my comfort over beauty.

Why? Is there something wrong with it?

Because they're prettier and more feminine

And my DH thinks I look prettier in a snood/tichel. He likes the casual look.

I don't wear snoods or pretieds because I hate the feeling of elastic on my head (yes, even covered.) Dh prefers me in a sheitel, but there's a limit to how much time I can spend in one. So while he prefers the look of a sheitel, he prefers the mood of me in a tichel instead.

Lol my DH actually likes the look of tichels better on me. For our shana rishona, I tried, I really tried! Pretieds, Israeli rectangle, regular square, silk, cotton... But I can't stand them! So snoods it is even if they're not the best for my face shape. DH is happy I'm covering and comfortable and that's that

I like look of long tails the most.
But nothing beats the comfort of a chenille snood.
Actually right now I’m wearing long tails pre-tied and it is very thin and comfortable but it constantly slides even with a velvet bands. The ones that don’t slide aren’t as comfy for me.

I dont cover at home. If someone comes over I need to leave the house quickly, I put on a beanie. It's so comfy

I have to admit I'm surprised too. I know there are lots of people here from kj, Williamsburg, blooming grove. I had understood that dayunim in these locations put an issur on them. I saw all these ads banning them.
Honestly I don't understand what's wrong with them. I wouldvwear it if it would suit my face.
I guess I was mistaken

I only heard about it on this site but apparently rabbanim banned chenille snoods bc they were encouraging women to stop shaving and "expose" their sideburns.

Agreed with previous poster - why are wigs not an option? I’m a SAHM but usually in a wig or sometimes a cap if it’s a particularly trying day
