Nope. It can go up to 4 years, it’s just not full sized. It takes a 60x120 mattress instead of the standard 70x140.

Same here. Purse I’d a purse of wallet. Handbag is a pocketbook or handbag.

I told I heard that word here in America too so I'm not sure it's an English word. But he enjoyed hearing it with the accent . As I'm reading all those words I hear it with the british accent .

I had an English chessed family when in seminary.

The cute kids scoffed at my American English.

I took the pram to the park and after we finished the crisps we would put the bag in the rubbish bin Smile

Oh and their favorite treat was smarties aka M and Ms

What does "cheeky" mean in British English and is it positive or negative?
And how do you say "it's crazy", referring to a situation that's unexpected or has a lot of problems?
There's also "watch" vs. "look after".

A cot would be a 60x120 whilst a cot bed would be 70x140. A crib or cradle would be smaller than that-like the bedside cribs or small spacesaver ones.

Someone told me an American was in sem in UK and after the show/performance and the rov saw her still in her costume. She ran in to her room shouting “He saw me in my vest and knickers!!!” Which to a Brit is underwear. To her it was a waistcoat and knickerbockers. Smile

Yes like a moses basket is a type of crib/cradle. Usually from newborn to around 6 months.
