Hi does anyone have a suggestion for this month?
The Adventures of Hershel of Ostropol by Eric Kimmel
Double Trouble by Joanne Levy
Wayward Creatures by Dayna Lorenz
Masters of Silence by Kathy Kacer
I've only been on PJ for 2 months and the past 2 months had books by frum publishers. This month I don't recognize any of them so I don't know what to get

Please keep getting books from PJLibrary, if you find stuff that works for you, but never forget their religious/political position:

Ok I guess I'll try one more time. Does anyone have a suggestion for this month or should I skip it?
Please don't judge. Obviously I don't agree with PJ's haskafos and activities, but it is a way for us to get free books. I can't afford books and don't manage to get to the library with my kids too often

I'm choosing the last two options. Wayward Creatures by Dayna Lorenz and
Masters of Silence by Kathy Kacer
No ideas if they're good, but Masters of Silence especially sounds good. I like that it's about the Holocaust. I will obviously pre-read it before giving to the kids.

Just got around to looking now and only have a couple of (also busy) days to chew it over.
The Holocaust one does sound interesting but sometimes I'm wary of having too many Holocaust kids books. It does seem original though.
The other one is also certainly original in concept. Have not formed an opinion yet.
The first book seems like fun, I think I've seen it before and didn't get it because there was something better that time? Maybe it'll come around again, they have some things like that.

Seems like they replaced Double Trouble with the kindness club.
Based on the parent info, it doesn’t look like any of the characters are Jewish. Sometimes, that’s easier than non-religious Jews in the story.

I picked wayward creatures because my daughter likes animals. And yes there are too many holocaust books. But it's better than the feminist books that discouraged having a family.
