That's so smart! I find that after I exercise I'm more hungry than usual.
Did you do Noom? If yes, can you share your experience?

I'm doing Noom for 6 months already! I lost 30 lbs in the first 4 and a half months! I love it!
If you just joined Noom you probably saw that they have daily lessons, in those lessons they talk a lot about exercise, there are types of exercise that will make you more hungry and there types of exercise that will make you feel more fool!

Wow, that's awesome! So happy for you!
I know it's going to be a big decision for me because of the money, but it's good to hear that it really works if you're committed.
I just started, so my daily lessons are about psychology and habit-building. I'm guessing the daily lessons change subjects over time.
Did you find that it motivated you to exercise? I only lose weight when I do both - diet and exercise. I only see that it counts your steps, I don't see any motivation to exercise.

When you exercise they will add calories to your budget, for example if you went on the treadmill and burned 500 calories they will add 250 calories to your budget.

I know, I exercised every day, and got a measly 200 calories. 1400 calories is still too little for me, I ended up binging.
I’m doing 1600-1800 calories now and losing nicely.

How is Noom better than MyFitnessPal (which is free)? I know they give you daily lessons but I don't need a nutrition class, I can write them myself at this point. Any other perks?

With Noom you get a personal coach and a very helpful support group, the lessons are not very much about nutrition they are about the phycology of weight loss, your relationship with food, why you eat when you eat and what you eat. It's about setting goals and sticking to them, you can find on YouTube people who did Noom more than 10 years ago and still maintain their weight and that's because they retrained their behavior and thinking around food.
The lessons are the heart of the program!
They cover a lot of topics like stress management and exercise, decision fatigue and the behavior chain.
And yes, as you go along with the classes you get quite motivated to exercise, they also give you some interesting exercise routines.
My coach and I reached a calorie budget for me and I'm doing 1400-1500 daily regardless if I exercise or not.
I tried doing more and if I eat 1600 to 1800 I'm in maintenance not losing and not gaining.
It's very personal and tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Never tried MyFitnessPal so can't give you a comparison just sharing my experience.

8 down since beginning.

Remind me which program you’re doing. Hard to keep track with all anonymous names...
I’m doing intermittent fasting and trying to eat healthy and low carb.

I'm also down less than a pound this week.
I lost .2 pounds.

I was eating out a lot this week, and while I was trying to find good food options, it was hard.

However, my goal is to make long term healthier changes. Im still working towards my goal, and still losing weight.

Even if the weight loss is slow, it progress! We're moving in the right direction! Smile
