This is new to me. Headfirst as in a dive?

I know as much as you . I don’t know exact details. One of the posters once gave a description. I found it fascinating.

Sorry guys I have a thing for accuracy. We aren't diving into or swimming in the mikva:

ETA: mostly we toivel 3x. Some have a family minhag to do more than 3.

Can you please describe how one gets deep under the water horizontally ? From what one poster once described it sounded like she went head first like a dive .

I can only tell you what I do. Chv to discount how another woman performs this special mitzva.

From a standing position, as you dip down, it is easy to lower your head while lifting your legs upward into a swimming position. It takes only a second.

The fish topic is great, but can you guys start a new thread? I'm just trying to keep the drama factor at a bare minimum. Much appreciated, thanks Smile Back to it!

I'd guess the type of person who feels bad that I wouldn't consider divorce if dh goes to shul with a runny nose... I mean, seriously, why was the following post hugged?

Its pretty normal for people to bring wine when they are invited somewhere. It's not a slur on your lack of good wine if they do, or ability to buy wine.

As for matza, it's nice that you are so financially comfortable, bh, but some people are not, (ie almost every single person I know. LOL ) but they still might enjoy inviting over their family and friends. Their family and friends are sensitive to the fact that it is expensive to host them.

We bring wine when we go somewhere as well. But it’s a gift for our hosts . It’s not for us to drink ourselves.

A lot of the things mentioned here.
I want to add one more- really life changing thing I learned about- but I can’t because it’s private and I’d only share anonymously.
I’ll just publicly share a thank you to all the women here who share about things I never would’ve ever thought of!
