Anyone do it recently and can give a review on the online lessons or any comments/feedback .. looking into doing it for my son....

My 11 yr old son doing now online now about 4 months
He took a break before Pesach and will continue next month
You do need to get a keyboard they recommend bec of beats
My sons been really enjoying it
He is self motivated so that works bec you need to practice
He started as 1 lesson a week, then went to 2x a week

Did anyone do the guitar lessons? My 10 year old wants to learn guitar. Thinking of doing this.

I'm a piano teacher but I got this program for my son because my dear preteen thought Mommy has no clue how to teach or play. His approach seems pretty solid for the price. You do need a self motivated kid.

Do you know what keyboard he recommends? I just bought a keyboard for my son ...  hope its the right one...

I wrote last year that my 9 year old son was doing it and it was working out very well. We ran into some problems when he couldn’t find some beats on our keyboard. He also had a hard time with more advanced chords. Eventually he became frustrated and gave up which is very disappointing to me because he was really learning how to play. The weather became warm and he just wanted to be outdoors. He completely lost his patience. No he’s asking me if I can get him private lessons because he wants to be able to ask questions when he doesn’t understand what to do.
He will still occasionally sit by the keyboard and play what he learned. He won’t forget what he already knows but at one point he got stuck and it ended.

If it’s a basic Yamaha it’s probably fine.
My son was using a Korg (from an older sibling) and it was too complicated for him to navigate.
