Most of the history I learned drained out of my brain like a sieve, retaining only absolutely necessary info. But here are some I remember:
Tigris and Euphrates
The Magna Carta
Hamurabi's Code

I have to thank Superwifey for starting this thread. It really kept me entertained on a cold rainy day, stuck indoors cooking for a Chanukah party!!

The Great Migration refers to the exodus of Black Americans from the South to Northern cities in search of better opportunities, definitely post Reconstruction but I can't pin it down more precisely

Wasn't Dunkirk the one with the evacuation by fishing boat?

Nagasaki
Treaty of Versailles
Sura and Pumpadesa
Balfour Declaration
Tenochtitlan |
Nagasaki was the second Japanese city where the US dropped an atomic bomb, ending WWII
Treaty of Versailles ended WWI, with its harsh terms setting the stage for German misery and anger that would lead to the Nazi rise to power
Sura and Pumpadesa were the two major yeshivas in Babylonia - or the names of the cities
Balfour Declaration had something to do with Israel or Palestine as it was then called. Did it declare the right for Jews to establish a homeland there? I don't recall the year

Preamble: We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice (and a list of other goals that I'm not sure I remember in the correct order... such as) provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, ensure domestic tranquility for ourselves and our posterity... do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Trail of Tears was the name for the exile of Native Americans from their land by the American government - I remember the Cherokee, but there might have been other tribes as well.
Harriet Tubman was a "conductor" on the Underground Railroad, shepherding enslaved people to freedom in the north. She returned 19 times (or so?)
Chiang Kai-shek was a leader of China during the Revolution - but I don't remember which side... pro-democracy, maybe? Because the other guy was Mao Zedung and his name is more synonymous with Communism in my memory.
Mesopotamia was part of the Fertile Crescent, between the Tigris and Euphrates, the "Cradle of Civilization"
I don't remember Sutter's Mill
John Roebling was the designer/builder of the Brooklyn Bridge! Do you know about Emily Roebling's role in that?
