Nechama makes the most sense.
Don't even know how you could consider another name.

I know someone named Masha after a Moshe, if that's fine with you...

We already have a Nechama so kinda can't give it again. Which is why I'm seriously stuck.
We also can't give
Bracha, Tova, Leiba, or Malka.

Another idea. Malka, as a phonetic nod to Moshe and Miriam and a thematic nod to Batsheva. Pairs with Menucha or Naama (Noachs wife).
Edit, sorry, just saw you can’t use it!

I have a similar situation. We absolutely adored my husband’s grandmother. She was so special! But my husband really doesn’t like her name. I’m thinking of naming Adina instead because she was so refined and temimustic. Is there a quality that defines the relatives that you can find a name for?

All four of these have water in common.
I’ll get back to you if I think of any more.
Edit: Batya Menucha, or Menucha Batya. Batya as a phonetic nod to Batsheva and a “family ties” nod to Moshe, and Menucha as a phonetic nod to Moshe and a similar meaning to Noach. |
I was going to point out the water connection even before I saw your comment!
Also, Maayan. Talya (other "tal" names too including Mayital, Revital, Avital). Kineret (where Miriam's well is located). Yarden. Batya (bat Pharoah who took Moshe in).

I really like that idea, are there other names that can describe people?
My grandfather was a really special man and would love to honor him in someway.

Would you ask a Rav?
Maybe Alta?
