AFAI remember one of the rules is one can use the same letter repeatedly in a word and it does not have to be as double letters or following.
If you are already asking the moderator about my words then I'll also chip in with my question. Please note: I wasn't going to point it out and had decided to stay quiet, but, ya know, let's get the rules clear with the moderator!!!
I've noticed other posters (not mentioning names) adding a letter that's not in the sequence after a
letter that they took from the sequence in order to form a word. Perhaps the posters think that is a silent letter but it isn't always.
And re using silent letters: that wasn't in the original set of rules!
The original rules, if I remember correct, were -
- reusing a letter in the same word is permitted
- one uses the vowels a e I o u to form a word
then the original rules somehow sprouted new "permitted" rules such as using the silent vowel of -y, then w, then silent letters, and I noticed recently not so silent letters being used.
"Rugelech dear," you started this excellent game and its rules and you write the sequence of letters
so I'm presuming you are the moderator.
Could you kind rewrite the rules again?

To be honest, I find it difficult reading such compliments and prefer not to receive them. It makes me feel uncomfortable.
I feel that I just want to play this game freely.

D C P N W R T G F S L M
Here are the rules again.
Each player makes words from the given letters adding in your own vowels including the letter "y".
The rule is the letters have to stay in the order they are written in the list above. No extra letters can be added to the above letters other then vowels. You cannot skip letters even if the words are in the same order. The words have to be a minimum of 4 letters.
Enjoy the game and good Purim to everyone.

Silent letters are not allowed. It is only the list of 12 letters that can be used together with any vowels.

I didn't notice the rule about using a letter more than once in the same word?
In your initial set of rules you wrote that is allowed. Can you kindly clarify?
It would be helpful that if reusing same letter in a word is allowed that you kindly give an example how one may reuse? eg. only as double letters? or letter can be used in beginning and middle or beginning and end of word, etc.
Also, can one place one or more vowels before the first letter in the row - in this case before D, and after the last letter, in this case M, to form a word?

To clarify a letter can only be used again if it is used as a double letter.
Vowels can be used before the first letter or anywhere else.
