And for washing tzitzis: spray super super generously with oxy spray and rub in with a scrub brush.
Tie tzitzis strings into a sock, then soak in a bucket of warm water with one capful of white brite for a half hour.
Wash in the machine on cool with regular detergeant and oxy powder.
Iron very very well when wet.
Good luck! It's my least favorite job Rolling Eyes

They are kids size 12 tzitzis. Eichlers has them on their website for $30

Since you seem to be a tzitzis expert, maybe you know this. Someone once mentioned, or maybe I read it somewhere, a great idea of how to prevent kids tzitzis strings from unraveling, and for the knots to stay nicely knotted. Like before they wear it the first time, treat the strings with something. I just simply can't remember with what. I don't think it was nail polish like we used to do to stop tights runs from running further, because that would harden the strings and look weird. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Any good ideas? My son's tzitzis always look awful pretty quickly, after a couple of washes.

And back on topic of this thread, Friday I went shoe shopping with a bunch of kids, so around $700.
Today we put taps on some of those shoes, only those that need it, so $20. The rest of today's errands were just exchanges of things we bought last week. So relatively cheap day today
