This week was good.
Basically Miri said she felt that she was chosen by him because of her being gullible and not knowing his situation. Arye took responsibility and assured her that he wants to change and agreed to go back to the therapist.

What are the guesses about Leah Teichman's connection to Aryeh's mother?
I'm guessing, either a mother who realized her son-in-law was abusive and, drawing from her own experiences with an abusive husband, tried to advice and help her daughter, only to have her estranged OR Aryeh's father being her ex-husband.

My HS daughter thought a while back that Mrs Teighman must be Aryehs father's mother. It was mentioned way back that Aryehs father grew up in a difficult home. Mrs teighman is in her 60s and never wants to be around when Aryeh or any members of his family is around . It all make sense

My friend pointed out that Mrs Teigman is older than Aryeh's parents. She's more like a bubby and Aryeh is the oldest, so his parents must be in 40s-early 50s

Unfortunately this isn't so off the charts unrealistic. I know someone who literally has a mother like this and puts her mother before her husband and kids.
She's an awful narcissistic wife, just like her mother.
