Galachim = (catholic) priests. You know the stereotypical men wearing cassocks, rope belt, the whole 9 yards, Spanish inquisition, kidnapping Jewish kids, blood libels, all that fun stuff. That's immediately my association when I see them dressed like that.

I am LOVING the tiktok videos. They make me laugh. And I can't help but think, oh my goodness, here are non-Jewish people singing and dancing to "H' surrounding His people as the mountains surround Yerushalayim." Mashiach, anyone?!

If you’re referring to a video in a club with a remix of yerushalayim playing, I heard that video is fake. The audio of yerushalayim was put over the original video audio.
Unless you’re talking abt a different video.
I also think that this whole thing is absolutely hysterical. I was scrolling thru all the mbc fan videos on TikTok one night and I was shepping such nachas. The comments sections on these videos is epic.
I think it’s great that for a change young, secular people, Jewish and non Jewish alike, are seeing frum people in a positive light.

Yes, the night club one is fake. That's part of what tiktok does, puts new music to old clips. There are a few well known dance scenes and such that have been dubbed to several different musical tunes.
But the liking and positive response to MBC by individuals does appear to be genuinr.
