Are we assuming it'll be the same type as Ateres? Probably not as big, in the first year? Or not necessarily?

That's what they'll be called from next year? This is the current Ateres principal?

Neimas Bais Yaakov is the new name.
Rabbi Belsky was the principal until the middle of the year last year. Unfortunately, he is not well and his daughters took over the school.

I see, thanks. Mrs. Tamar Sokol is his daughter who's in charge of ateres now and will be in charge of Neimas?
May he have a refuah sheleima.

He is on dialysis. I think he was also in the hospital recently, or still is. My daughter was in sem last year, and she said they barely saw him.

Yes. He has multiple daughters involved in the school. It was always a family business.

I'm not a business person so I'm not sure how a rebrand helps when they already have a name that people are looking for. But Mrs. Sokol had enough of a role in the original school that I would assume the new version would be similar.

I heard they'll be like BJJ academically, which is very different from how they were (catering to different academic levels).
Anyone heard anything about it?

I find that hard to believe in light of their previous setup - they're on record attributing their success to some bracha involving accepting people regardless of grades or something like that.
Maybe they meant their top level would be on par with BJJ?

Yes. From Rav Pam who was Rabbi Belsky’s uncle.
